Scallop Edge blades (concave wave)

he world-renowned Scallop Edge blade features a plunge-ground cutting edge, which means that every single plunge wave has been ground to perfection to ensure the highest cutting properties. Since 1946, this blade has provided clean, consistent cuts used in foam manufacturing, food processing, packaging materials and other industrial applications.

Standard Scallop Edge blades are produced from carbon steel and have a 1/2″ (12.7mm) pitch. Stainless steel blades are available by special order and are mainly used in food processing. Many of our

scallop cut-to-size and length forms have additional holes and rivets to facilitate their use in applications requiring reciprocating motions, such as slicing bread, meat or preparing packaging materials.
